Basic MR viewing

Classic and Enhanced MR grouping, windowing, spatial comparison, MPR and 3D.

Open, group and window

Classic single-frame and grayscale Enhanced MR / Legacy Converted Enhanced MR are supported. Echoes, b-values, diffusion directions, time points, components and dimension indices form separate display groups, labeled in the list. Sources remain unchanged. 2D opens at the middle slice using its DICOM window, or an estimated range if absent. Scrolling retains the window; Auto window recalculates it from the current image. Inputs support three decimals.

Acquisition parameters and measurements

The overlay shows available TR, TE, TI, FA, B0 and b-value. Enhanced MR uses shared/per-frame geometry and pixel scaling. Length, angle and ROI tools work as usual. Unspecified intensity units are a.u., never HU or SUV. Real World Value Mapping and vendor-private quantitative conversion are not implemented. CT windows, water QA, MTF, threshold segmentation and VOI are hidden for MR.

MPR and multi-series comparison

Regular stacks support MPR with linked position, window and inversion across three planes and seven layouts. The initial window uses the whole volume to avoid narrow peripheral-slice windows. Compare 2–4 series with independent MR windows and patient-coordinate linking by default. Parallel stacks in the same reference space scroll together within coverage. Cross-plane reference lines and Alt-click point navigation are available. Different spaces remain independent; no registration is performed.

MR 3D

Regular MR volumes use the existing 3D tab or four-view MPR layout. MR grayscale volume, MR high signal and MR MIP provide float windowing, auto window, rotation, zoom, directions, cropping and screenshots. Presets use this volume’s intensity range, without CT HU thresholds. Thin, nearly isotropic data is better suited to 3D; interpolation cannot restore missing through-plane detail.

Export and current limits

PNG exports the selected display group. DICOM preserves complete source objects, possibly including other echoes, time points or components. Tag shows the complete source file. Mosaic, MR Color, spectroscopy, MR 4D playback, fusion and quantitative analysis are unsupported. Missing dimension information is not guessed; duplicate positions, localizers and irregular geometry cannot enter MPR/3D. Viewing DWI/ADC is not ADC calculation, DTI, perfusion or fMRI analysis.
